The key ingredients come from the sake carefully crafted at Suginoya, including sake lees and live yeast cultures. Our most popular items include “Sake Lees Bagel,” made with daiginjo sake lees, and “Craft Beer Bread,” made with fresh yeast from Suginoya beer. This brewery bakery also sells amazake soft serve ice cream and sake lees steamed buns.

Established in 2018, this new brewing area reimagines the sake-making process and produces in the optimal conditions envisioned by the brewers. It’s the first building you’ll see when arriving at Suginoya, making it the face of the brewery.
The first beer brewery in Fukuoka Prefecture.
In the summer of 1996, Suginoya Beer brewing began after obtaining the first beer production license in Fukuoka Prefecture. Suginoya Beer is renowned for its rich, malty flavor, showcasing the malt’s essence. The malt aroma fills the air on brewing days, and you can watch the brewing process from within the brewery.

This area was created by re-purposing the wood from old wooden barrels. It remains cool and refreshing in summer, making it the ideal place to relax on hot days or after shopping. Of course, you’re welcome to enjoy food and drinks at your leisure in Kura no Ma.
